A Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) has been signed between Impulse Space, a pioneer in in-space transportation services, and Exolaunch, a leader in launch mission management, integration, and satellite deployment services globally. The arrangement, which was unveiled at the 38th annual Small Satellite Conference, is the start of a strong partnership that will improve payload delivery services for institutional, commercial, and academic clients.
Impulse Space and Exolaunch have teamed to provide all-inclusive space mission services. Orbital transfer vehicles will be provided by Impulse Space, and enhanced separation systems and mission management will be provided by Exolaunch. Commencing with the launch of LEO Express-2 in autumn 2024, they will work together to deliver customized mission solutions. Further cooperation is planned for missions in the future.
Joshua Rea, Director of Commercial Sales at Impulse Space, called Exolaunch the ideal partner for their GEO Rideshare Program, citing their reliability and successful launch of nearly 400 satellites. Kier Fortier, VP at Exolaunch, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting Impulse’s innovation and the expanded solutions it will bring to their global customers.
In the process utilizing Impulse Space’s superior orbital manoeuvring capabilities and Exolaunch’s extensive history of deployment services, the two firms are expanding the orbital diversity and mission profiles available in the satellite launch market with the implementation of the SPA. In addition to enhancing each organization’s capabilities, this cooperation will set new benchmarks for mission accomplishment and customer satisfaction with the goal of providing more creative, dependable, and efficient solutions to match their clients’ changing needs.
