A finite liability union member, SKY Perfect JSAT, has declared its intention to invest in Seraphim Space Ventures II, which was established by the UK-based Seraphim Space Manager LLP (Seraphim Space).
SKY Perfect JSAT declared in March 2024 that, by 2030, it will allocate 10 billion yen for investments to space-related venture funds and enterprises. This endeavour will be guided by the decision made. We aim to enhance our partnership with space entrepreneurs across Europe, North America, and Asia by means of this funding. We want to jointly establish new space enterprises for a sustainable future by fusing the resources and expertise amassed by SKY Perfect JSAT with the cutting-edge technology of start-ups.
Seraphim Space is one of the biggest space technology investors in the world, having invested around $300 million and supporting over 100 space-related firms since its founding in 2015. Seraphim Space is the manager of Seraphim Space Investment Trust PLC, a fund that is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is primarily focused on growth-oriented start-ups who have completed their Series-B financing. By running its own accelerator programs, the company also offers assistance to newly established enterprises to help them thrive in the marketplace. This accelerator program has established a strong global network with early-stage entrepreneurs and is held generally twice a year in the US, Singapore, the UK, and other countries.
