A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) detailing Sidus Space’s collaboration with NamaSys, a multidisciplinary technology and electronic security consultancy, was executed today. Sidus Space provides end-to-end precision space structures solutions, including satellite data as a service on its proprietary orbiting platform. The purpose of the joint venture is to establish, own, and operate a satellite manufacturing, production, assembly, and integration facility in the Middle East that will support the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and beyond.
The parties share a common goal of promoting the growth of science and technology, and the MOU specifies how they plan to serve and meet the interests and expectations of public and private clients throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) area. The first phase of this fruitful partnership, which offers several value propositions, will focus on investigating prospects for the GCC countries to have continuous access to space by setting up satellite production and gathering data from space.
