Mark Rigolle has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ABS, a global satellite operator, with effect from April 29, 2024.
Having worked for GEO, MEO, and LEO satellite operators in a variety of roles, including executive, non-executive, adviser, and co-founder, Mark offers a breadth of knowledge in the satellite communications industry. He has ties to space and satellite development initiatives in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Mark will work out of ABS’s Dubai, United Arab Emirates, office.
Mark Rigolle expressed his excitement about joining ABS at this crucial juncture for the business and the FSS sector as a whole. “ABS is in a rare position to show how the industry may flourish again following years of decline. To make that happen, we have the resources, personnel, abilities, and encouraging shareholders. I’m excited to collaborate with our partners and clients, both present and future, as we help them grow their businesses.

In addition to being a co-founder of Kacific, Mark has held positions as CFO of SES, CEO of O3b Networks, and CEO of LeoSat before joining KLEO Connect as CEO. He most recently served as Rivada Space Networks’ COO. Mark is proficient in English, French, and Dutch and has a master’s degree in economics from the University of Leuven in Belgium.
