The US Air Force AFVentures Program has selected Reveal Technology for a $33.6 million Strategic Funding Increase (STRATFI), and the company is pleased to announce this news.
The Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command (HQ AFSOC) A5-8-9/Gunship Requirements Office (A5KG), the US Air Force Research Laboratory Centre for Rapid Innovation (AFRL/RSC), and the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Program Executive Office (PEO) SOF WARRIOR will all benefit from this award as they continue their research, development, testing, and evaluation efforts.
The warfighter will require technologies that allow the gathering, edge processing, and distribution of real-time intelligence in operationally constrained locations in the next phase of expeditionary warfare. In order to provide the upcoming generation of situational awareness tools for operations in restricted locations and at the tactical edge, Reveal will collaborate closely with joint force customers.
Reveal’s Farsight 3D modelling software is set to undergo further development, integration, and scaling to better meet tactical warfighter needs. After 36 months, leaders at all levels will have an improved solution for rapid exploitation, evaluation, and distribution of edge-processed intelligence, supporting quick decision-making in dynamic operational settings. This advancement will enable units to generate near real-time 3D models and situational awareness layers, facilitating analysis at the speed of the battlefield, even in GPS-denied environments.
“Reveal is grateful for this STRATFI award and feels it validates the Department’s view of Reveal as a significant future technology provider. Reveal’s CEO, Garrett Smith, stated, “As we carry out this contract, Reveal and its supporters will keep adding capacity and capability to its platform in order to earn its place as a trusted and long-term partner for the 21st century Defence Department.”
