A successful partnership between MediaKind, the global leader in media technology services and solutions, and Makedonski Telekom, a division of the Deutsche Telekom Group, has resulted in the launch of MagentaTV, the next generation of digital TV services. North Macedonia’s cutting-edge, customized TV experience is being redefined by MediaKind’s inventive MagentaTV service, which is powered by the incredibly scalable and dependable MediaFirst Cloud TV platform.
The partnership between Makedonski Telekom and MediaKind demonstrates their ability to work together to develop and execute services that are in line with evolving consumer preferences. MediaKind’s deployment comprises MediaFirst in addition to its SaaS-delivered Video Storage and Processing Platform (VSPP) and Content Management System (CMS). This strategy allows MKT to efficiently leverage its current infrastructure and quickly launch MagentaTV with little financial outlay. In addition, the collaboration improves operational effectiveness and gives Makedonski Telekom the ability to create personalized user interfaces and incorporate external elements like analytics and recommendation engines, opening up new avenues for content monetization and enabling the company to expand and innovate through stream manipulation.
“MagentaTV marks a significant evolution in television, catering to the new digital landscape and changing customer preferences,” said Emilija Andonovska, CCO at Makedonski Telekom. As pioneers in interactive TV, Makedonski Telekom has transformed the viewing experience through collaboration with MediaKind, creating a platform that offers access to numerous applications and content on any device, anytime.
With Android TV integration, MagentaTV positions Makedonski Telekom as a leading content aggregator, providing a seamless user experience. Ashish Patel, President of MediaKind, emphasized the successful implementation as a commitment to enhancing digital TV standards in North Macedonia, enabling advanced OTT streaming and high-quality services through integrated solutions like MediaFirst and VSPP.
