The Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana and Azercosmos, the space agency of Azerbaijan, have launched a new collaboration.
The government agency of Botswana will make use of data services supplied by the Azerspace-1 telecommunication satellite as per the terms of this long-term agreement. This is significant since it is the first time that Botswana has received satellite data services via the Azerspace-1 satellite’s African C band coverage.
Azercosmos provides satellite services to about half of Southern Africa’s 13 nations. The implementation of Azerspace satellite services in extensive data projects in Southern Africa will be improved by our partnership with Botswana.
