The cutting-edge space-tech startup, GalaxEye Space is happy to announce its collaboration with SkyFi, a top platform that makes it easier to obtain Earth observation imagery and gives users access to robust analytics tools. This unique partnership represents a significant advancement in the industry as it solidifies a formal agreement well in advance of GalaxEye’s first satellite launch, paving the way for increased access to high-resolution, multi-sensor data and a deeper comprehension of the dynamic landscapes of our planet.
Satellites equipped with GalaxEye technology can do optical/multispectral imaging (MSI) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (X-band). Regardless of the weather, this method enables the simultaneous collection of many data sets, yielding insights. Their first satellite launch, with a resolution of two meters, is slated for Q3 2024. Four more cutting-edge satellites, which plan to attain sub-1 meter resolution and daily revisits of every spot on Earth, will be launched in 2025 thanks to this launch.
We at GalaxEye are thrilled about our collaboration with SkyFi. Our cutting-edge multi-sensor technology combined with their platform revolutionizes decision-making for governments and corporations globally. This would increase the importance of Indian space technology and is in line with the ‘Make in India for the World’ strategy, according to Suyash Singh, co-founder and CEO of GalaxEye Space.
Luke Fischer, CEO of SkyFi, stated, “We are excited to collaborate with GalaxEye and incorporate their multi-sensor imaging capabilities into our platform. This broadens our selection and improves the use and accessibility of satellite imagery. The detailed, regular Earth observations provided by the combined SAR and optical imaging will surpass client expectations.”
