Comcast Business and Starlink, a pioneer in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology, have struck a strategic partnership to offer Comcast Business enterprise customers connectivity solutions.
The partnership makes it possible for Comcast Business’ Managed Connectivity portfolio to offer advanced satellite capabilities that support a variety of business applications for enterprise customers, particularly those with operations in underserved areas. The portfolio offers fast and dependable connectivity.
According to Jon Friedman, senior vice president of product strategy and operations at Comcast Business, “Starlink’s LEO satellite technology complements our existing network infrastructure, extends our reach, and further enhances Comcast Business’ ability to deliver reliable connectivity solutions to enterprises with a human touch.”
In order to provide broadband internet that can support streaming, online gaming, video calls, and other activities, Starlink, the first and largest satellite constellation in the world, uses a low Earth service provider orbit. By utilizing cutting-edge satellites and user hardware in conjunction with its extensive knowledge of spacecraft and on-orbit operations, Starlink is able to provide consumers with high-speed internet.
According to Jason Fritch, Vice President of Starlink Enterprise Sales at SpaceX, “Starlink is excited to work with Comcast Business to deliver reliable connectivity to customers. This deal with a top service provider recognizes Starlink’s increasing importance as a vital component of contemporary enterprise networks.”
