The Department of Defence (DoD) has awarded a $23 million task order to 1 Mission Partners (1MP), a joint venture between Nelson Enterprise Technology Services (NETS) and VMD Corp (VMD), under the Headquarters United States (U.S.) Air Force (HAF) Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) and Cyber Effects Operations (CEO) (HAF A2/6) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Through this IDIQ, HAF A2/6 will have a strategic means of acquiring Cyber, Intel, and Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) Superiority Services.
The CEO HAF A2/6 mission will be supported by innovative and agile methods and technologies from 1MP. In order to support Air Force (AF) units in delivering worldwide, reliable, and secure communications and cyberspace capabilities to improve AF key operations in air, space, the EMS, and cyberspace, HAF A2/6 and A3C advocate for resources. In addition to leading the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) requirements process, HAF A2/6 delivers strategic-level threat intelligence that directs AF decisions and activities across acquisitions, force designs, and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
