Strasbourg, June 24, 2021 — KBR recently won a $58.1 million task order to provide sustainment engineering services for U.S. Air Force systems. Having a strong foothold in the engineering solutions for the defence industry, KBR will identify impacts, improvements, alternate solutions, and more efficient methods to increase the warfighter system and weapons reliability and maintainability.
Under this task order, KBR will conduct research and analysis on end-to-end testing techniques and the sustainability of critical systems. These efforts will identify impacts, improvements, alternate solutions, and more efficient methods and techniques to sustain critical Air Force landing, navigational, radar and air traffic systems.

The Air Force Installation Contracting Center’s 774 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron awarded the cost-plus-fixed-fee task order through the DoD Information Analysis Center’s Multiple Award Contract (IAC), an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity vehicle for complex, integrated professional projects. KBR will carry out these duties in Oklahoma as well as other locations over the next five years. The company has performed similar tasking for the Air Force since 2005.
